Since 2018, Anusha has been painting flowers whose names often go unnoticed – the wildflowers we pass by without a second glance. Through this body of work, he reflects on how society assigns value: elevating some while overlooking others. Using flowers as a metaphor for caste, class, and identity in Sri Lanka, the exhibition questions the systems that divide the “known” from the “unknown,” and the dignified from the unseen.
