ABOUT ARTIST

Kobishan Sivakulasingam is an abstract artist from Jaffna,whose practice explores existence, consciousness, and the mystery of life. Self-taught, he discovered art through an inward journey, gradually finding a deeper connection between stillness, creation, and the present moment.

Moving between abstraction, cubism, and expressive forms, Kobishan allows colour, shape, line, and movement to emerge intuitively. He does not seek to impose fixed meanings on his work, but rather sees himself as a medium through which creation unfolds.

His practice is an ongoing exploration beyond thought, identity, and conventional ways of seeing—embracing freedom, unity, and the infinite ways existence expresses itself.

For Kobishan, art is not separate from life; it is life expressing itself.
