She is inspired by scenes from everyday life that arouse emotion and rejects categorization because each of her paintings varies to match her mood. Her paintings have a rare characteristic known as a "hint of hyper-realism." She does this by applying paint layer upon layer to generate contrasting colors. She is happiest when the result accurately reflects her objectives and values the creative process more than the tangible worth of the finished product.
