The World of Textiles is an Exhibition of the exquisite wearable art from several indigenous world cultures. These works are part of my private collection garned from travels through out the world. From representation o abstraction the visual range of textiles presented is a wide as all of visual art. Without an eye to this rich past, it seems the fast faced digital world might otherwise leave behind the textile arts and the knowledge of artisans. Reflect for a moment how the embroidered stitch might be considered the first digit of digital art.
