Omali Radhika

ABOUT ARTIST

Omali Radhika is an emerging artist and art teacher who constantly strives for newness in her work. Her series, Fragments, features acrylic paintings on circular woodcuts, a departure from traditional mediums. Drawing from her foundation in printmaking, she explores innovative ways to depict the complexities of her fragmented life. Each piece reflects her resilience, navigating both personal struggles and the larger hardships Sri Lanka has faced over the years. By blending traditional motifs with her own modern flair, Omali invites viewers into a visually compelling exploration of her world, where art becomes a means of collecting and reassembling life’s shattered moments.
